  2. I didn't know if I was saying damn to the imagery or when she opened her mouth and began singing! Yes , Kali, this is definitely a 'My Black is Beautiful' moment!

  3. Their voices, their bodies, the perfect imagery created a masterpiece. I remember watching D'Angelo's How Does it feel and gushing over his frame much the same way I am over theirs. Thanks.

  4. That is how I found this. I had seen the DeAngelo video for the first time in ages and as I searched for a song I saw the phrase, 'Timothy Bloom has a DeAngelo moment...

Well of course I had to look. Happy I did. I think I'll get married just so that I can play this at my wedding. smile.

  8. Def. liked the song... whoever produced or directed this video did a wonderful job with the imagery as shellseeker mentioned. This would be a perfect song for a couple to dance their first dance to as husband and wife Pep... oh now I gotta go listen to Luther's song Here and Now ... I always thought that would be perfect as well but strangely I never hear anyone use that song at their weddings now days... I suppose it was so played out when it originally came out. Hhhhmmm Another two songs I like -- forgive me I'm on a role -- is Lifehouse's You and Me and Daniel Bedingfield's If You're Not The One--- I know way off subject... but everytime I hear those songs I instantly picture a the newly married couple out on the dance floor swaying to the music.
    Anywho, sorry to get sidetracked.

  9. @392OhMyGoodness, I decided that I can't choose this as the song that I'd get married to since I just now realized it's about 'planting his seed' in a woman in the even, god forbids, he should die. So...this is the song that should be sang to a guy going off to serve in the military, or a gang member or something.

Because there will be no 'planting of seeds' any where near me! I don't want that! No no no! HELL no!

I still have to select as my favorite first dance song; DeAngelo's Higher. I still envision me and DeAngelo dancing to that right after our wedding--I MEAN me and my bf dancing to that after our wedding.

  10. lol Pep, I don't even have any kids and I know exactly what you mean...planting a seed... l.o.l the only seed I want to be planted is the ones for some fruits and vegetables.
Okay so I know I'm probably like the only person that didn't know this but True Blood's 4th season airs June 12th I believe... I cannot wait, I read on some site that everyone is coming back, Eric, Jesus, Lafayette, Tara, Sam, Sookie, Bill, Alcide(mmmmm Alcide), and even Russell. I knew Russell was never dead... if Eric could escape the cement grave then so could Russell...I really do hope that Sookie and Bill get back together, cause home girl cannot have my Alcide... I hope he stays single and shirtless forever l.o.l But the one couple I do want to see make it is Hoyt and Jessica, I think they look so cute together.

  11. I love Hoyt and Jessica. Bill is so sneaky, and he's a little punk. That is how scared men act--they only stab you in the back, they can't come around to your face. Now Eric...OH MY GOD, that's who I LOVE. I'll let you keep Alcide-just stay away from my Eric.

Do you read the books? If so you know what's coming, right? All I can picture is...well that would be a spoiler.

I don't like Jesus. He tries too hard. But I am happy Lafayette has a man. I hope Alfre Woodard returns as his crazy-ass Mama. AND I hope Tara and Sam give it a chance. They both deserve someone good, and Sam cares for her if she would give over her prejudice over the superhuman. Well...actually they ARE all bad, even Sam since he shot his brother in the back.

Does anyone else dislike that storyline with Crystal and Jason. Crystal is way too trashy for a person that can supposedly have any girl he wants.

Well...I can write on this subject forever. I think the next book should be coming out soon. I can't wait to read it.

  12. I actually do not read the books, I want to but I'm afraid that if I do I might be let down by how different my Alcide is in the book compared to the one on screen. Yeah Crystal and Jason just feel wrong to me... but I think the fact that she told him 'No' initially is why he wanted her. Yeah he could have gotten any woman he wanted and that was the problem... he never had to work for one, until she showed up. Now if Tara had never paid him any attention I bet he would have been all over her.
And yes anyone that prefers Eric can have him... although I do see the appeal with his devil may care/bad boy attitude but I prefer the heat, the ire of the beast within from Alcide compared to a solely hot tempered vamp (l.o.l-- I know so poetic...NOT)l.o.l
I never really did care for Bill all that much... behind that laid back southern gentleman's drawl he's always planning something. I always found Lafayette to be the highlight of the show... him and just about all the other characters-- including Alcide (mmmm Alcide) l.o.l
