Wheels of Steel the Novel

Thank you all for your support of this story.  Thanks to my muse Ho-Z.  I had no idea that this would turn into a novel when I first started.  It has been very hard work to write this; the research alone is mind boggling.  As I sat down to do the re-writes I got to a point where I said, 'WTF???'  Why am I doing this???

Then I remembered the emails from everyone reminding me of how much they love the story and characters.  And I remembered that this story doesn't just belong to me but to everybody who invested the time and energy to read and comment on it.

I haven't gotten to the end, but I have written new material that answers some of the questions you all had.  I expect this to be finished by the end of the year.  If not, I will literally have a melt down.  As I type this the story is 188,000 words long and over 500 pages.  I expect approx 20-40,000 more words. Enjoy!

  5. I loved the rewrite, it was perfect. I won't post which parts I enjoyed most; I don't want to spoil it for your readers. Great writing Pep!!! Thank you for keeping me entertained. Big Ups for the FREE reads even though I would purchase your novels in a heartbeat. WOS kept me warm in the icy cold Detroit weather.

  7. Oh I totally have music trivia Pep!!! Name this tune...

    Room gets suddenly still
    And when you'd almost bet
You could hear yourself sweat, he walks in
    Eyes black as coal
And when he lifts his face
Ev'ry ear in the place is on him
    Starting soft and slow
    Like a small earthquake
    And when he lets go,
    Half the valley shake

I'm really liking this rewrite. I think you are handling it perfectly, though I'm only on chapter 7 right now...

I know that it was made way way before I was born but I love that song! It helps that I sang that at Disneyland hehe so I have good memories because of it.
