  3. Thank you Victoria, and not a problem Anonymous. I want your feedback even when it is telling me to do better. *whispers to anonymous*...between you, me and Ho-z before I posted this update I told him that it was crap and I hated it. LOL, he told me to post it anyways because people were waiting and that I was allowed a crappy one. Smiles. I can tell you that the next one is already better!

  5. Hey it was sad, because Robins mom just looked at how Top looked and not at his heart. But that is how it is in the world , everyone looks at you funny when you are different.
Can not wait to the next chapter.

  8. I'm so glad I wasn't the only one that thought Robin's mother deserved to be told off. She is one of the causes for that poor girls issues. Sad for Jason though hope his mom doesn't go too crazy on Betty haha Great update can't wait for the next

I was surprised to read that you didn't like the chapter. Interested in the changes you might have made to the progression of the story and/or character development. Everyone loves the happy parts but the hard, challenging and ugly portions always come with apprehension. I eagerly await the next update or changes.

I started a few years ago reading stories online because Iwas going broke at bookstores and no time to browse the library. But reading the stories as an author is writing and developing has given me a new appreciation for the process all authors must go thru and I'm sure some other author might feel that way but in the end love the result.

We love ya so I don't think you can do any thing to "wrong". But hope you feel better about the next updates.

  10. :)
Thanks Keya and Lakergirl. I have the story written in my head so the 'bones' are there just needs filling in. I've deviated by having the hospitalization take place at this point. From a technical point it seems to work considering her confrontation with Jason's mom. Also Robin's attitude is a deviation. I find myself writing her with a little less backbone than I had originally intended. But it still works. This is all a catalyst for her 'awakening'

Ok, enough spoilers. I don't want to ruin it and I have a big mouth.

  11. Side Note: I did want to "Thank You" for one more thing.

This past winter, I heard Maysa sing a version of "What Are You Doing For The Rest Of Your Life?" at JazzFest. Fell in love with the song. Wondered when I'd have that feeling again with someone. Or if I knew of a couple who would be able to hear that song and be like "Oooo yeah".

Thanks. Got a couple now. =-)

  12. Hi Pep,

I first discovered your stories on Lit, but when I saw you had a blog I was more than a little happy. To say that I am obsessed with your work is an understatement. I also write..no where near as good as you, but I enjoy it probably as much as you do.

I have a blog and was wondering if you would read some of my work. I just started it, but I figure if someone like you even thinks its half decent I must be on the right track.

Oh! Also...I liked that Robin went ahead with the transfusion. It shows that even though she cant stand up to her mom quite yet, that she is taking her own feeling into consideration.

Can't wait to read the next update. I'll be impatiently waiting for it...as always.

  13. Hey Pep!
Anxiously awaiting the next update. Thank you and Ho-Z for bringing this story to us. Tonight on the nightly news there was a story about a married man w/ cerebral palsy that was climbing a mountain twice the height of the empire state building. Just thought you would like to see it.

  14. Hi Anonymous. I'm going to post tonight before I go to bed. Plan to write up until I start getting tired and then post it.

And that video; oh my god it was AMAZING! That guy was pulling himself up the side of a mountain by his freaking arms?! I can't walk up two flights of steps without needing to lay down. It was very inspirational. Thanks for sharing!
