  1. Good Morning Ms. Pace, I am looking forward to reading the Scandalous Hero book set today. Is there a specific time of day the book set will be available on amazon. I have looked several times and have not found it nor has search engine on amazon shown the books.

  3. I have been stalking Amazon since Friday hoping for an early release. It's ready on Kobo so I downloaded the app and purchased it on Kobo. The authors did a good job. I'm enjoying it.

    2. Sorry guys, Amazon has never taken so long. We think it might have to do with it being by multiple authors. Thanks for your patience

  7. Words escape me. I don't even know how you do it! Brava! The story flows effortlessly. Well fleshed out, authentic characters, good and bad co-exist side by side. The way Scott and Vanessa meet and fall in love is organic...their love is truly a rose that grows from a concrete floor. They are so similar yet very different.Vanessa upbringing has it's challenges-organised chaos- but in comparison to Scott she is sheltered. Scott on the other hand has no one to shield him from the elements yet despite the challenges and the ugliness around him, he still strives for good, it's in the way he sacrifices his dreams for others, opting to make pragmatic choices for those he loves. You manage to capture the challenges that they face without being sentimental, judgemental or trivialising their struggle. Without giving much away, let me just say, you have me hooked. Hooked.

    1. Anonymous...you make me want to cry. This is very different and wasn't sure if people would get it. But this story has been in my heart for a long time and I'm happy I had an opportunity to get it 'out'

  8. Thank you for getting it out. You are gifted and your works are truly a blessing. I love the way you write about ordinary people with real issues ranging from loss (death, divorce, rejection), drug addiction, disability, homelessness mental health. You're characters are beautiful not because they're drop dead gorgeous, monied or live in posh houses but because of their capacity to love even in the most difficult of circumstances. Vanessa knows what it means to be lovedand be cared for. Scott...not so much and yet, he still retains the capacity to show love. He is caring despite the fact that he grew up neglected. He strives to embrace values never mind there is no one to teach him about having standards (bar his teacher). You tackle serious issues without being preachy.

You have a way with words, such beautiful prose, it's the way you wield words and sentences together to create vivid pictures and add essence to your characters. Your characters are always grounded in friendship- the bedrock of true love no matter the nature of a relationship. You know how to let the story unravel using dialogue and when to allow us to gain access to a character's thoughts. With Scott and Vanessa, their relationship is highly plausible because, through their thoughts and interactions, we see the budding attraction and growing connection way before they have that conversation.

The intimate scenes are always beautifully crafted- down to the clean up. The coupling is raw, earthy yet sensual, urgent, messy even, but oh so sexy. Phew! You make it work each and every time seemingly without copious amounts of foreplay but only because, in retrospect, in the manner of tantric sex, the foreplay takes place in less than obvious ways, sometimes days and weeks before the act. And in this way, you manage to show that the act of sex is fundamentally a meeting of the heart and minds, it is about love and lust, it is about knowing that one is loved...the greatest of all is love.

Keep up the excellent work. Long may you continue!
