I didn't think it was 90 days. Wait...January 27th is when I was approved. That's not 90 freaking days!!! I have 90 days to make 60 posts. I was going to go on and post about GLEE (sighs). They got some GLEE fanatics on their just like I am.
Kali, maybe you can go on and leave a message on the General Fiction board that I apparently got the boot and won't be updating the Beauty and the Beast story there. But it will post here...sighs. I'm not rejoining.
LOL, I'm soooo happy I didn't shoot off that nasty email that I was preparing in my head. But I have 45 posts under my belt so not too many more to go. I'll fill that up talking about GLEE and Trueblood :)
The system is complicated. I didn't exactly know how to join because the first time I missed the questions, lol. Then, like you, I couldn't figure out how to post, how to create my avatar...and I still can't figure out preferences.
Hi Pepper, I got booted off the first time I joined too. I waited several months and then rejoined. I've been posting ever since. It was confusing at first but I just played around until I got the hang of it. It does get easier!
I tried...I tried so hard to meet those strict ass requirements. I just might not have that much to say within a 90 day time frame. Its kind of lame to have such strict requirements when I can read quality else where with less drama.
I'm up to 49 posts. It wasn't easy but I wanted to stick around and join in discussions that interested me.
I thought TST was a writing site like Literotica. It's not. It's more of a chatroom without the live chat. And I spent a few days scratching my head trying to find stories before I realized that IR stories were just a portion of what they discuss. I'm still discovering new things.
They just booted me today... I didn't have enough posting and I was reading a story... It sucks. It really makes no sense that they have a requirement to how many postings you have to have. I go to school full time and work full time... I'm sorry I don't have time to go about and post X amount of comments withing a 90 day period. I'm just bummed. :(
Awww. TST is mean! Join again and you'll get another 90 days, then you can finish the story. I started reading one about Eminem. It's very well written. I truly believe that I'm reading a story about the real Mathew Mathers getting ready to hook up with a sista. I just hope it's not going to be Beyonce.

It has some really awesome writers and almost all of the stories are bw/wm pairings. the website promotes women of color. I believe a couple of the authors are on their way to being published.
