EDITORS ARE NOT EVIL!!!!

I was wrong...editors are helpful. Especially when your fan base demands that you write grammatically correct English. I feel you, readers. Before I submitted stories to Lit I saw alot of smart, interesting stories. It was easy for me to get lost in the spirit of the story and disregard mis-spellings and such...as long as the author stayed true. But (and there is always a but) I have read some top notch stories that are better then those I've seen in print! The words flow perfect, and enhance the spirit of the story.

So with that said, I don't want bad grammar to distract you from a pretty good story! I'm going to use a Literotica editor for STRANDED. Her name is Honeybree and she has already received the first installment. I am anxiously awaiting her thoughts.

You guys know that I write alot. So depending on the amount of writing therapy that I need to engage in, I may be utilizing several different Literotica editors, as well as non Lit editors. JG who edited Someone to Love has already accepted my invitation to help me with another project.

I'm looking forward to submitting work that will be even better then what you've previously seen from me.

Thanks for reading!
Pep

  1. Can't wait to read more of your stories. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE pretty much every single story of yours. I agree that some of the stories at the website are better then the ones I've seen in print. Especially for the interracial stories. I've bought several interracial ebooks that were medicore at best. I'm not a big stickler for grammer, unless it is an ergerious one that takes you out of the story or if there are too many of them.

  4. SO who do you have editing and how did you find them? I have a few stories that i need help on, and for some reason, I am shy about having people I really know edit them. I think it is the crushing blow I would feel if they hated my work or the fact that I sometimes write about the people I know...

I love your work, thank you for sharing. It is always a treat to read your stories!

  5. How do I find editors? In my case I've been lucky in that friend's offer to edit. Which is not always good when they get all up in your business! LOL. Also friends take things very personal when you don't use their suggestions.

Honeybree is my editor on Lit. When you find a Literotica editor, find one that enjoys your genre.

And if you are very very lucky, your readers will give you great editing suggestions. One such friend; JG sent me short suggestions and then I pretty much started asking him his opinions. And when he offered to edit one of my stories I let him. Turned out he was experienced, knowledgeable, and helped me to make myself clear.

I'm no expert on editors, but this is how it works for me. I don't always use one, but I should.

Thanks, i wish i were clever with names. If you write on literotica then let us know here so that we can go check out your stories!
