Working on Miscegenist Sabishii III

This is turning out to be a difficult chapter.  Tony, Nikki, Dean, their jobs, a baby.  Story one and two both showed a humor and optimism that I'm finding hard to scrape up for this one.  These characters are going through a rough spot and where is the humor in that?  What I liked about Miscegenist Sabishii is how funny the characters were.  This one is actually not very funny at all.

I hope to be finished soon, but it's going to be a long one.  I'm on page 40 (double space between paragraphs) and it's not even half done...

Some stories flow from my fingertips and onto the page, like my interactive story, or Miscegenist Sabishii 1 and 2.  But not this one, it's been difficult to find their voices.  I guess this is the reason that it's going so slow.  When this one posts I'm going to need some solid feedback on what you think before it goes on Lit.
