Am I the only one that watches ABG? I LOVE this show. It's on YouTube (for free), and they have an episode a month, though in December it will start being 2 episodes a month. (Yay)
What I like about it is the satirical social commentary concerning relationships, work, shyness, friendship, etc. I always feel a moment of; "Yeah! That's happened to me!" I just watched Season 2, episode 6 and J and White Jay are finally 'getting busy'.
I felt very connected to this episode *blush* and was screaming at my computer "Hey, I did that too!" J is an awkward black woman (much like myself), who has a new man in her life who happens to be white (like the new man in my life). They are about to begin a sexual relationship and I could not stop laughing at how awkward she made it. ABG s not afraid to talk about things that you 'arent' supposed to talk about'.
OM Goodness Pep,
ReplyDeleteI just watched that clip and I was dying laughing. The 'Where's Waldo' outfit she had on was bold. lol

How could I have missed that outfit??? UGH!!!! Everybody on YouTube's comments are talking about it and I missed it! Darnit I guess I'll have to watch this episode again
DeleteI loved it from the beginning, but season two has turned me completely off. I use to be excitedly waiting for a new episode. Now I watch it whenever I remember. Thanks for posting the new episode, Imma give it another chance!
ReplyDeleteSeason two was seriously lacking but this episode reminds me of that first season when you laughed out loud. I hope it continues on this trend
DeleteI've loved this series since I discovered it last season. I too find alot of moments that I totally relate too. J's awkward moments make me realize I'm not alone. This season has been slightly disappointing but I hope that now she and white Jay gave gotten it on, things will pick up.
ReplyDeleteK.
Hi K, I hope this show continues to improve. We need shows like this.
DeleteI've watched this episode three times already and I can't stop laughing like a hyena; That ying yang rap, the 90's sex scene, screaming; "You gonna smash this punanny!" Yeah...I'm a fan. And not to mention sexy ass White J and how he got red with the waiter. Ooooo...TURN ON!!!
ReplyDeleteI've never seen/heard of this but thanks for the referral, I will def be tuning in.
ReplyDeleteI love ABG. Thanks for posting this, I need to catch up. :-)
ReplyDeleteAnother really good webseries is "the Unwritten Rules". It's about a young black woman's workplace experiences in corporate America. Check it out if you haven't already. ~Dee
ReplyDeleteThanks Dee, I will
DeleteI didn't even know YouTube did web series until I ran across the Wigs channel. I started watching this episode and cracked up laughing. I stopped it so I could watch the show from the beginning. Thanks for posting it.
